Perry Update

Hi know I haven't posted in a very, very, very long time. My last post was regarding one of my players who lost her mom, whose name is Cameron. Cameron is doing well. She has good and bad days, but is continuing to rely on God everyday. The volleyball team did continue to win and make it to the State Tournament. We went 1 and 2 in pool play, didn't advance to the finals, but the ride was amazing.

Austin has commit ed to the Univ. of Tennessee at Chattanooga. We are in the "senior slide" mode at our house. He is ready to graduate and move onto the next chapter in his life. We are so proud of him and the accomplishments he has achieved. He will be working this summer to save up some spending money.

He is playing baseball for his school team. He is actually one of the captains on the team and is showing great leadership qualities with the younger boys. If you have a minute click on the following link and read what his baseball coach had to say about him in the post dated November 15th, 2008. http://www.addcouragetocoaches.blogspot.com/

Most of you know Randy and Austin were in a horrible car accident back in November. They are doing great and everyday they are healing.

My parents turned 60 on October 7th and we celebrated with my sister and her kids at Outback Steakhouse. We had so much fun, I have great pictures from the party and will post those soon.

No news on the adoption front, we are still waiting to hear from the judge. We have hired and attorney to help us with the process. We are scheduled to go to court March 3rd. I will update as I know.

Thanksgiving and Christmas were great! Mom and Dad were home and it was good to see them. Jessica couldn't be there but 2 of her 3 boys were! It was fun to be with our families. Such a special time of the year.

I promise to update more often. I am actually going to start training to run some 5K races with my mother-in-law. So everyone out there, keep me accountable.

Love you!!

Randy, Pat & Austin
